What is required to reserve The Lawton Estate for our Event? Wedding and reception sites are often booked up to a year in advance. A minimum deposit of $1,000 is required. Custom payment schedules may be made to accommodate your needs. Every dollar of every payment is applied to your account with no service fees or gratuities. Do I need to provide my own caterer? Dewell Events Catering is the authorized caterer for The Lawton Estate. Can I provide the alcohol for the event? Yes, our clients are permitted to furnish beer, white or blush wine, and champagne for their guests. At the end of the event, our staff will load any unopened alcohol into the contact person’s vehicle. Are there any gratuities, cake cutting fees, etc.? There is no hidden fees at The Lawton Estate. We give our potential client’s very complete proposals. These proposals list in detail each charge associated with your event, including tax. Will there be a coordinating supervisor at the Event? Definitely! A few weeks prior to your event, a coordinated timeline is written one of our coordinators and approved by you. At the event, the coordinating supervisor will make sure that everything runs smoothly and according to your wishes. Does Dewell Events do wedding cakes? Only the freshest, prettiest cakes in town! Is The Lawton Estate available for small, simple wedding ceremonies? The Lawton Estate is available for parties of 50 to 200 guests. Is there more than one event at a time at The Lawton Estate? For the traditional wedding reception, your event is the only one at that time. Our staff is completely devoted to making your event spectacular! Is valet parking necessary for events at The Lawton Estate? No, The Lawton Estate has plenty of convenient on-site parking. What time should the bridal party arrive for the ceremony? The bridal party typically may arrive 1 1/2 to 2 hours prior to the rental time.
